trying to think of how many ostensible leaders in this industry i and most ppl i know actually really respect for their leadership and not just their corporate achievements and coming up real fuckin short lol

so many ppl's brains are so deeply infected by this industry's stupid underdog mythos that they are literally unable to recognize how power works anymore. god himself could come down and tell them "you are influential" and they'd be like
