so many ppl's brains are so deeply infected by this industry's stupid underdog mythos that they are literally unable to recognize how power works anymore. god himself could come down and tell them "you are influential" and they'd be like

95% of the times i looked up to someone/thought they were cool and ended up meeting them i was left insanely disappointed and let down the remaining 5% though are absolute gems and should be protected at all costs
