is it totally unfair to see what you’re describing and wokeness (with a capital w) as a venn diagram instead of a circle? pursuing of better collective standards seems natural and good, but i worry that it’s taboo for good-faith actors to acknowledge certain opportunistic trends

i would disagree with this lol this topic is literally all over certain influential segments of twitter all the time the perception that they're somehow silenced is just untrue.......however ur right in that high quality non-reactionary discussion of it is hard to find lol

i guess i don’t feel like i see it take place among peers who are earnestly interested in the broader cause (VC/rationalist/etc types etc ofc love the topic), but yeah i might just not be paying attention to the right people
