is it totally unfair to see what you’re describing and wokeness (with a capital w) as a venn diagram instead of a circle? pursuing of better collective standards seems natural and good, but i worry that it’s taboo for good-faith actors to acknowledge certain opportunistic trends
i def agree that there are people who take Wokeness™ too far but idk i don't think the quoted tweet is a good faith analysis of that dynamic. you can't critique reactive oversimplifications with equally reactive oversimplifications
