i would even accept this deeply cynical mindset if the same people didn't 1) have a child like LeTz BuIlD sTuFf belief and 2) didn't go to pieces when a small app doesn't let them in. Like at least the wall street freaks own being cynical and liking American Psycho/LayerCake/etc.
oh yeah there's the whole blackpilled nihilist faction who i don't really agree with but at least they tend to be internally consistent. i like a lot of nait's takes tbh but yeah the whole surface optimism underlying cynicism thing is getting old
