this is outside of obvious asian accents like sometimes i turn on the radio and someone will be talking and to 99% of people it sounds just like an american accent but in my ears it's definitely a 2nd generation asian american........don't know how to explain it u just know
you can also tell their general age too. there is a distinct Gen X Asian American voice even if the person is 2nd / 3rd gen
yes 100% i also find that it's easier to notice with women than with men but maybe that's just me
Strangely I have an easier time identifying 2nd gen female compared to 2nd gen male.
