yeah that's fair. one of the high schools I attended cost like $24k/year. and people were bitching they only got into Vanderbilt or w/e dude, classes were 8 people. this one was on you
my high school cost $40k/year lol the most insane thing was watching parents get mad that tuition didn't automatically get their kid into harvard like sir..........i have been in classes with your child and i regret to inform you he does not know how to read

oh boy, yeah. the divide between students who tried even a little (HYP, Georgetown full ride, whatever) and students who were just in school bc their parents were rich was stark and I imagine your school was fancier. 40k is no joke
