Like you I would like designers to take risks but first it's gotta be possible to get permits approved for an unconventional design without risking further delays from angry neighbors. That's not currently possible in SF
yeah i agree w the difficulty of building but i would not say we should take for granted this kind of building as a "low risk conventional style"........if this is conventional we're all fucked i would rather live in a featureless concrete block than this
