are people really mad the mn freedom fund couldn’t just blow thru 35 million dollars in 2 weeks when they probably have never had to deal with even a fraction of that kind of money before

I think most ppl are just asking for transparency about where the money is going :/ or what they’re doing w it
yeah their last post was a mistake pr wise too casual but honestly i can’t blame them for not being able to put out a whole primer on bail and nonprofit governance and financial regulations in 10 days every single org ppl donated to is gonna look like this

YES so vague they could have been a little more transparent at the *very least* and I totally get what u mean. Ppl are probably just super scared of their money being lost especially during a time like this

Yeah. Think we all need to remember to give smaller charities room to learn on the job during crazy situations like this. They aren’t PR pros (that’s a good thing), they’re more interested in putting their energy toward helping others than broadcasting.
