I love true 4 seasons because the year feels like it's constantly evolving so you tie each memory to the season. Every mid October when the colors change I still get sad because my first gf in middle school dumped me for this guy named Steve.
i love the slow seasonality of california none of that bare branches summer thunderstorms fall colors melodrama just a long slow expansion into summer, a long slow contraction into winter, like breathing
