one thing that's true abt instagram though is it's very closed system it does almost nothing to surface content outside your bubble so even if you wanted to see what the kids were doing it'd be hard to find. at least twitter has trending, insta explore is too personalized
Instagram is very good for very specific communities, but it isn't an all-purpose social network. Like it's a very important part of the knitting community, and a lot of discussions about racism in the knitting community and how to address it have happened there over the years.
