there are a few wildcard "surface technolibertarian but also hard for singapore" guys who've been sending out some very confusing signals lately, not sure how to integrate. embarking on further research

So true. Some VCs I follow are going all-in on the gun thing. It's wild. If guns ownership was a startup they wouldn't invest given the statistics of gun ownership vs. ownership harm.
