love when software engineers make jokes about "my job is just professional googling" but seem entirely unable to use a search engine when asked to educate themselves on basic social issues

you are assuming people know what you know. despite them telling you they _don't know_ and are struggling to start helping themselves. unless you literally think they are all acting in bad faith and trolling you, why not provide some tips? there's nothing concrete in this thread
