i forget who tweeted abt how we are conditioned to understand how much "makes sense" for consumer goods but not for charitable giving but i'm feeling that like i started out with unsure baby $50 swipes and now it's like $200? $500? anything's fair game

And for those who have the opposite mentality towards money (save it all because what if!) I've found a budget line-item to be useful there. You can plan for donating before having a specific cause or org in mind, then you're ready to go!
