i forgot how many dumb defaults every new mac comes with that i then have to systematically undo

the new keyboard is good though it feels like the one on my 2014 but crisper. unfortunately i have already gotten used to touch bar esc and i keep tapping the key now waiting for something to happen before i realize i have to push it

some diacritics i can only figure out how to get by turning on the thing where you hold down a vowel and they pop up

i've had most of the option-key diacritic combos in muscle memory since high school lol i find it vastly preferable........faster + then i can repeat keys to my heart's content
