the only really interesting remote work discussion is how will organizations navigate the balance of using remote to give optionality & flexibility & access vs using it to offload costs onto workers

it's a huge recurring theme of the past 5-10 years you see it with gig economy stuff, you see it with online education — someone's gonna use tech to expand access & scale a good thing, do you also trust them to not abuse it to cut that good thing's quality guarantees

Therapy options are a good comparison because therapist's offices also tend to cluster geographically in specific neighborhoods. Telehealth relieves the commuting/access problem, but requires access to privacy at home.
