i don't find most of it particularly offensive a lot of it is just a different plane of thinking but shit like my french host mom making me thai noodles "because i'd like it more" or like dutch girls in hostels asking me if i'm good at math is really fucking annoying lmao
French here with a honest question: couldn't that shit happen in the US too? Sounds like ignorance and clichés more than anything else and it is not a European specificity (ex: in South America they call all Asian people Chinese).
