whenever americans want to appear learned we make generalizations about europeans to make a comparative point but of course europe is a complex place and in my experience the only thing that ties all europeans together is they always tell me that i am not american, i am chinese

you know usually when someone says "i've experienced a thing extremely frequently" it's in poor taste to say "no that thing doesn't happen"
