part of it is also a comms issue i don't know if stuff is working or if fda is in the way or if the tech is just bad but it's notable to me that when this started tech was all abt private sector opportunity & innovation and now there's just dead silence & little visible progress

Partly a comms issue, partly a scale issue. I'm not upset with FDA. They're doing the best they can. If we're not certain tests work then testing is meaningless. The tech has ramped up quickly to meet the moment. Next hurdle is wide-scale anti-bodies which is coming along

started about two months ago. Until the EUA we could only work with governments but now are able to do nationwide rollouts in partnership with private/non-profits (ATL for example is with https://www.coreresponse.org/ ) and a step to at-home.

The challenge with those huge promises made by large companies is that you still need a healthcare worker present. So for Walmart (for example) to roll this out across its stores, it needs trained personnel there to administer. Now think abt #/location of mcdonalds
