i think it's also why literally all of our friends are chronically burnt out - we started making cool shit and then woke up one day in an 8 hour meeting about optimizing metrics for some nonsense product and wondered what happened
it's really sad idk i feel like for a huge percentage of ppl here either you get sucked into the money and lose sight of what you were doing and start conflating actually building with defending tech at all costs and shit like that. or you get burnt out
