can't quite put words to the deep soullessness of kids at "gen z consultancies" making "gen z" their whole identity in order to mine other ppl's content & culture and repackage it for older millennials desperate for a taste of Hip & Cool

not really? i feel like there was a lot of "what are the millennials doing" but the culture of self-branding etc wasn't present in the same way at the time such that you'd go around starting consultancies purely around the fact that you yourself were born in whatever year
