is there literally any reason reporters still don’t get input on the headlines that their names get printed under this has never made sense to me
obviously editors exist for a reason and for print i get that layout constraints are a thing but online headlines are often different already. why do i have to keep seeing reporters say “sorry i had zero control over the headline” but editors have no accountability
As if journalists have any clue what headline will generate the most ad revenue.
