if i were running a company claiming to be leading the revolution towards a new education system i'd maybe recognize that it's an objectively difficult problem to evaluate anyone's performance under current circumstances instead of dunking on sf sjws or whatever

somewhere deep in the replies he proposes the solution "everyone gets a pass" anyone who's touched the school system in the last decade knows that passes are calculated differently in gpa than letter grades and often a student who would've gotten an A is hurt by receiving a pass

I'm still in awe that FB's response to the coronavirus was to a give SWEs making 6 figures a UBI while doing nothing for their worse paid contractors. Just incredible stuff

ppl are gonna be like "boo hoo agencies vendors regulations it's too hard to do it" empirically, it's possible to give money to support ur contractors and there are other companies doing it
