Kinda a stupid tangential point but, competence: just seeing a woman rule at coding, dissolves sexism in tech more effectively than protesting. To give them their due, men can bitch but they are basically meritocratic like that. Theres a difference in styles of responsiveness.

  It's worse, we're only meritocratic when we think it benefits us. Default thought for many men: Man coder= they must be good to have gotten the job. Woman coder= they must have got the job because 'diversity'. Men=innocent until proven guilty Women=guilty until proven innocent
