anyways i am legitimately fascinated by this massive experiment in education methods that an entire generation of kids are being subjected to and i rly hope something good comes out that's not just like, 5 startups for checking ur kid's worksheet progress via eye tracking or w/e

what i also don't understand is how this line of discourse ignores the fact that most students are not enjoying or getting ~optimal results~ from online learning?? across the board from middle schoolers to college students i don't know a single student who is thriving

proponents say it gives smart kids more flexibility to learn on their own and that in some ways it improves access to education but there are a lot of assumptions & holes that go kinda unaddressed. online has a place in the Ideal System but ppl haven't figured it out yet i think
