the worst thing is the underlying cs terminology is usually not bad but the moment it hits industry ur fucked. google is the worst at this they love to take sick ass concepts like "paxos protocol" and "byzantine fault tolerance" and spit out like "BorgMaster" and "Bigtable"

lol finance is so much worse, they have all these fancy words for different financial instruments and asset classes and market behavior that obscure more than clarify..sometimes i think that’s the point. “i want to short an option at strike price and swap that with a credit bond”
