this isn’t even a putdown i genuinely couldn’t come up with the vocabulary to understand this situation like is this what 27yos are doing and feeling in 2020 i just don’t know

the concept of “getting dumped” after a series of dates, or of “dating” meaning “we go on dates”, feels like a relic of a totally different time i cannot fathom but i really thought everyone under 30 today was on the same page here

For the record, I’m 28 and had the same reaction (crying & ice cream after 3 dates? Wtf. That’s around when you might finally save their number in your phone, not a great tragedy). So not sure this is generational.
