i hate that i enjoy the feeling of being physically fit but i don’t like the work required to maintain that feeling

i wanna be able to run & climb & lift things when i have to or want to but it takes so much time & effort in the stupid sad gym to maintain that ability

being in good shape kicks so much ass though maybe its trite but i started rock climbing a few years ago and having a focused athletic ability/activity made it so much more fun than just lifting or cardio or whatever

downside: during this pandemic i am going fucking insane cause i was just hard cut off and it might be a long ass time before the gym opens again

yeah i feel this u gotta have a form of workout that feels intrinsically good and mine is either swimming or hiking and guess what the pools are closed and the trails are closed
