can’t imagine being an olympic athlete now stuck in quarantine for months knowing in a year you still have to get your body to perform at the top of your game

If you are elite you can have specialized equipments at home.

some of them yes but things like swimming/diving — nobody has a 5 meter diving pool at home

Olympic lifter here (train along w/ my day job for tournaments); it sucks and I ended up spending $$$ to buy equipment to support my training which now co-lives with my bed and workstation in my room. Have had to find alternatives for items that weren’t feasible for a rental home

I got my hands on what limited equipment I could and I'm doing more workouts with less intensity just because I don't have heavy weight. I'm gonna maintain rather than build, but I accept that given the C-19. I'm paying for a training program. I assume they do the same
