gonna say for the last time - corona has been serious to me since early feb when wuhan shut down - tech was totally correct in taking early measures, which i agreed w at the time, and it prob helped sf a ton - tech ppl are unqualified to be talking medicine with any authority

there are tech ppl doing a great job sharing accurate information and supporting researchers & local communities and there are tech ppl callously spewing wildly untrue shit and idk if i didn’t wanna be misrepresented i’d go and tell like, elon or keith to shut the fuck up

its insane to me that some people can be well-meaning, not completely psycho and not also have some self-awareness about the idea of being a 'tech person'. i guess its like being a well-meaning journalist or media personality or something

the defensiveness is insane they’re all like “whatever this bitch just hates the industry and herself” like do they think i work in tech ironically or something......it’s not like i didn’t have options lol i am here bc i wanna be here but unfortunately a lot of the ppl here suck!
