my calculator app is right next to my clock app on my phone and they’re the same black and orange color scheme and i often hit the wrong one and stare at it for several seconds before realizing i cannot use this number pad to set an alarm

i do the same! but then i thought maybe it’s good UI because snooze is the less dangerous of the 2 to mix up, at least it’ll go off again.

When the alarm rings on Android it displays the snooze and off buttons both as white icons on gray background, symmetrically placed left and right. They expect me to read their stupid icons in the morning, sleepily and without glasses. I've done it wrong several times.
