fb's practice of tying its employees' personal accounts to their work accounts (dogfooding except you can't opt out lol!) is one of the dumbest practices any tech company has ever come up with

They can just be like the rest of the under-50 population and stop using FB
"delete fb" is a dumb response to this i don't use fb core anymore but 90% of my friends are on instagram or messenger or whatsapp and the employee account link extends to at least the first two

Looks like they should rename “Add friend” to “Add coworker” and then rebrand to FacebookIn. Traditional companies will be their only consumers.

How is it a dumb response? A lot peope have deleted the app because of privacy breach, instigating depression, pushing propaganda on their feeds. There are alternatives, and people have started making it their default. And with that people migrate to newer apps.
