all u need to know about my politics is it was very foundational for me to go to expensive private school for most of my life and watch the insane resources provided to us go to kids who simply could not be bothered to do their algebra homework
The only problem with free college for the poor is that the schools preparing them for college are wholly inadequate from grade school to high school. They usually are going to the worst of the worst in testing, resources, and mentorship for college.
yeah i mean the whole system is broken top to bottom and i don't think free college is just something you can wave a hand and make happen instantly & perfectly but it's absurd to say people *should* be denied it just because they don't have money
It's a real thing that the lower classes, even when given the resources of the rich, don't know how to use that network. They don't teach you that in fluid dynamics II.
