Shoot, sometimes reminds me of diversity initiatives at tech companies. Boosting each other as other underrepresented groups fall apart. x_x
thinking abt when a bunch of white girls at my college paper made a private chat called “strong powerful women” or some shit and proceeded to spend all their time boosting each other while the paper fell apart

oh there was absolutely a whole thing about “isn’t it great all our top positions are women this year” meanwhile i don’t think i remember ever having a single black editor on staff

well their top story rn is about a group called "stanford against coronavirus" but the photo caption that's the only thing you see on the home page calls it "stanford for coronavirus". have nothing else to say about the oldest independent student-run paper of stanford university
