there are plenty of perfectly well-spoken & reasonable people who’ve been working in tech policy & law for years and i think in this case it’s mostly the media’s fault for going all in on dipshit ceos instead of getting these people on to talk about the bigger issues

property rights on data was the key tech issue in his campaign platform afaik and as an oversimplified idea was pretty popular with yang gang types but he didn’t get time to talk about it much, sxsw will change that
