In 2012 http://Timeout.com decided to hire an engineer in the USA. That was me. They had 30 engineers at HQ in London, but only me in the USA. 5 hour time difference. No one works late in the UK. If I tried to ask a question after 12 noon, I got no answer till the next day.

On the flip side I would be *so* productive if no one bothered me/no meetings after noon every day.
