I’ve been internalizing a lot of the anxiety and stress from the recent Verge reporting on Lambda School, which I am currently enrolled in full time. It’s been doubled down by seeing tech role models— @dhh, @abramov, @ossia, even @isosteph all dog pile on with their shots.

one of the things i believe most strongly is educators are in a position of immense responsibility, and it’s up to them to own that when students are dissatisfied with outcomes. lambda leadership hasn’t shown that to external viewers, which also reflects on their business sense

i think you’re pretty much right in your analysis of the state of education in general, i hope things are working out for you and that you feel like you have the resources you need there. if you believe in lambda i can see why you would! but i don’t

Agree dissatisfied students should have their story told and feedback accounted for// and that there should be greater transparency about who is/is not having good outcomes so the entire debate is not anecdotally based
