lmao it really says a lot that a few of these responses assume the problem is with other people bothering the caller, not the caller bothering other people
yup and any cafe that's loud enough to not disrupt other patrons is probably too loud for the person on the other end, and usually those kinds of places you'd be an asshole if you sat on a laptop all day anyways

I've used https://krisp.ai/ for the second situation. Works okay. What we need is more cafes with phone call areas, or more coworking spaces with drop-in and day rates.
