the biggest difference between new york and san francisco is how wide the streets are and everything else is derivative of that

i love the outer richmond/sunset but the streets there are insane 2 wide lanes despite essentially zero traffic and parking on both sides

there's a bike lane on cabrillo through the richmond that's really great. the wide streets and emptiness kill the nightlife but create : add to the daytime beauty. which is part of why much of NYC is butt ugly wintertime
