engineers like to complain about dumb whiteboard interview problems but give them an open ended question and then you’ll often find a large subset wont like it, they want something that resembles test taking so they can prove themselves
it’s funny when they complain about how you should just be able to speak about your experience like in any other industry bc like 60% of them would absolutely collapse if a job offer depended on them articulating their work in a coherent & appealing way
