I really agree with this! Software felt more personal when you had to stare at a list of people who made it.

that + the one-time install rly combined for a feeling of "we worked hard and made a thing for you" now it's like "hey u don't know who i am but ur gonna eat the shit just flowing continuously out of my ass whether u want to or not"
