I tweeted about crypto literally once and it got everywhere and the replies were insane, it’s like they mine or whatever by being tedious

Its markov bots most of the time, honestly. Somehow they think it will make them $4 from shilling, which it possibly could, perhaps that amount means something somewhere. It's scary how easily corrupted online conversation is.
