Do you sincerely believe that everyone is 100% capable of doing things they really want to do? I can honestly say that’s not true for me—if anything, sometimes the things I most deeply, desperately want to do are the hardest specifically because their importance locks up my brain

like no i understand that yes a lot of ppl truly are working with shitty hard limits and it sucks! but a lot of people simply aren’t and the current framework for the language of disability just doesn’t give space for anyone to talk about that

I agree 100% with the point. “you really care about something yet you can’t trust yourself to do what needs to be done” is almost the diag criteria for ADHD tho we use drugs/strategies to turn motiv into action tech folks w/o ADHD overuse the same drugs/strategies to be boring?
