But doesn’t that prove advertising does work then? No one would buy those products if it weren’t for the highly effective ads they run. Not saying advertising those prods isn’t immoral but it clearly does work.
my issue isn't with the claim about advertising it's with the shitty ass logic used to justify it. please reread the tweet and understand what the counterexample is there for
I understand perfectly what you’re saying. But, money is generally a good proxy for something being valuable. That doesn’t mean it is 100% of the time or that it’s the only thing that makes something valuable, but it’s one of the most easily identifiable.
