sf lacks good options for getting across the city further than a neighborhood ish but if it’s under 2 miles you can walk you can bike you can take the muni/bart basically anywhere and at this point traffic is bad enough that it’s literally the same or faster than rideshare
like i’ve definitely taken short ubers but honestly in 90% of cases it’s unjustifiable and i’m just being a little bitch

there are very few neighborhoods that *require* you to go over hills. there are almost always pretty simple alternate routes that add little time
