trying to figure out what it is that makes a "thought leader" in the negative sense for me and i think it's a combination of a) lots of broad statements presented as truth and b) this persistent sociopathic desire to be only ever consuming "the best" ideas
ppl who are constantly posting stuff abt "where are the best intellectual conversations these days" or "what defines a valuable intellectual conversation" or "how do i construct a space for total positive knowledge flow" like shut the fuck up man
Wanting to be "contrarian" to the point of denying basic human truths (e.g. "unpopular opinion: adding capital flow to the friendship market could generate new opportunities and improve friendship efficiency")
