why is workday so bad and why does every company use it. genuinely do not understand

yes workday is impossible to navigate. But you've gotta consider that its also nearly impossible to configure and initially load for launch at the company too.

We were having a really hard time solving a specific reporting data flow (don't remember what exactly) when launching it and their Success team just straight faced said they can only do 3 API calls a second across the enterprise instance, no batching, no further questions allowed

they were bragging at an info session that they used a *proprietary* programming language internally, so there must be something advanced somewhere

their internal “proprietary programming language” is basically coding “within” Workday. it’s a baffling concept that obfuscates almost all normal coding, and instead focused solely on UML
