i'm only like 40% confident in this slice of thought leadership if there r teens out there please tell me if i'm wrong but everything on instagram seems to be just text twitter memes. not sure how tiktok changes this equation but tbh not sure if it'll last

might just be my text brain talking but i feel like image/video memes inherently lack the context carrying capacity of text memes. like u can go viral for sure but the range & depth & versatility seems limited so far

feel like images are good for capturing certain thought structures but u need language to deepen them & rly root in the receiver's mind. thinkin abt how popular recent memes like galaxy brain/drake and even old impact style ones paired images with text, visuals don't stand alone
