other cities have things like “seasons” and “fashion” and so forth but i greatly enjoy being able to do errands around my neighborhood in flip flops in january

bay area yearlong fashion does exist! ranges from the high school boy’s eternally unwashed basketball shorts to the completely unnecessary goose coats
ppl who wear any kind of coat here are insane i’ve lived here my whole life and never once have i felt it was cold enough to warrant a coat

What about the wind? It's pretty cold in some parts of the city

no wind in sf that can’t be buffered by a normal jacket.. ppl have no business wearing down or wool coats that’s just a waste of supply that could come to us on the east coast
