actually idk if twitter is gonna be able to do reply limits correctly since every reply is its own tweet and if u don't limit on the existing replies then op's friends just get brigaded instead of op and i just don't see the recursive limit actually getting implemented

Not sure but reply tweets keep some info on the original source tweet, so i think they'll just limit all replies including reply-replies

It could be like blocking where (I think this is how it works, please correct me if not) you can’t reply directly to the tweet but you can reply to replies.
